You’ve heard and know her from her Billboard Hits with St. James Choir, Rev. Charles Nicks, Pastor and Jimmy Dowell, Director in such hits as: “I Really Love the Lord”, “Stranger In Town”, “I Need Him”, and “Wonderful.” Now, she has a new project written and produced by Grammy Nominated Writer and Producer Sylvia Moy of:” Cherie Amour”, “It Takes Two”, “This Ole Heart of Mine”, and many more. This project is a mixture of Gospel, Inspirational and Gospel Jazz. Ortheia’s vita reads like Who’s Who until Billboard Magazine proclaimed her “Up and Coming Singer and Detroit, Michigan proclaimed July 9th as “Ortheia’s Day”. She has sang with and open for many artist and dignitaries such as: Aretha Franklin, Smokey Robinson, Ray Charles, Julio Iglesias, James Cleveland, Pope John Paul II, Mandela, Desmond Tutu, just to name a few. Shehas done commercials for: Mc Donald’s: “You Get a Lot for a Little”, Mc Donald House, international award winning commercial: “It’s a Great Time in Detroit”, and more.
