“I have a passion for people, it doesn’t matter what someone need or why they need it and if I have it they can get it”. Lavetta LeBlanc reflects on her life and know God is the center. When I think about all the things I’ve gone through personally from family members lost to cancer, family members surviving cancer and being a caregiver of my father for any, any years as he battled cancer I know I’m in the right place. One day I went to a cancer symposium given by Cancer Awareness and Resource Network and there were so many thing said about cancer, the signs and symptoms, the headaches and hardships people go through when they’ve been diagnosed and I could identify with them all. I knew then I wanted to be a part of this organization so I can help give hope to someone who may not have hope. As a single mother of two daughters and five grandchildren I want them to see what it’s like to believe in something and give all you have for it.
